TEAM VIRGINIA

We are team of 12 students from the University of Virginia. We all come from different academic backgrounds, ranging from biomedical engineering and mathematics to economics and chemistry. As a team, we all recognized the important issue of costly and late detection of atherosclerosis as one of the largest contributors to the leading cause of death worldwide. This began our journey to build an affordable, accessible, and easy-to-use detection test strip. As part of our project, we also recognize the importance of sharing our knowledge as we seek to do with this blog.
